Water Garden

Immerse yourself in the sensory experience of the Lincoln Way Water Garden. Wander just steps outside your Carriage House into the oasis featuring native plants, tropicals in the warm months, apple trees, and herbs. From the fountain, flowing creek, and koi fish waterfall beside the yoga lawn, you will find comfy cozy places to rest and renew!

2020 brought the world into a humble perspective as we all braced ourselves during the times of COVID. We embraced being outside and making lemonade out of lemons... or in this case, the water garden! Dubbed our Pandemic Project, the water garden was birthed from the minds, hearts, and healing intentions of our entire team, one stone and plant at a time.

Bring on the pollinators! A healthy habitat for our pollinators is of the utmost importance. After the garden was established, one of our team members, Lindsay Heitz, made sure everything was in compliance and submitted an application for us to receive The National Wildlife Federation Wildlife Habitat Certification.

Working with Aquascapes of St. Charles to design and build the water portion of the garden was a dream come true. The waterfall pond is now home to just over 14 fish, and they have even had babies! You will find butterfly koi, shubunkins, comets, and even a few bluegill!

Every plant you see, smell, taste (ask us about the edible ones!), and experience we lovingly planted for you... Enjoy!
