WELCOME TO LINCOLN WAY STAY


We look forward to creating a memorable and relaxing experience for you.


RESERVATION DETAILS


  • The Carriage House Loft & Suite can accommodate up to two(2) guests with one king suite. Upon advance request, a rollaway queen bed can be provided for an extra fee for up to two (2) additional guests.
  • Guest minimum stay is two (2) nights. Some holidays require a three (3) night minimum stay.
  • All reservations at Lincoln Way Stay are provided strictly as short-term lodging. Guests acknowledge and agree that their stay is temporary.
  • Guest stays can be no longer than 25 days.
  • At the time of booking, your credit card will be charged a 50% deposit of the reservation cost (not including state and local hotel tax.)
  • Check-in begins at 3 p.m. and can be contactless or with a meet and greet. If you would like early check-in, please request at least eight (8) hours in advance.
  • Check out is by 11 a.m. Should you need a later check out, a fee of $50 will be charged, and advance notice of at least eight (8) hours is required.
  • In the event you must cancel or shorten your stay, we ask you to give us seven (7) days' advance notice to avoid incurring the cost of the entire reservation.
  • Children under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while on the premises, including the gardens.
  • We reserve the right to enter the Carriage House and make repairs in the case of an emergency.
  • Thank you for leaving the space in as good a condition as it was provided to you. Any damage caused by you to Lincoln Way inside or outside, including but not limited to carpet stains, soiled furnishings, broken windows, or appliances, will result in a charge to the credit card on file for the damage(s) and/or additional cleaning.
  • Lincoln Way is not responsible for the loss of personal items. Any personal items discovered after departure will be safely held for a reasonable period. To ensure privacy, we do not contact guests to notify them that personal items have been left behind. Please contact us to arrange the collection of the items, and we will happily arrange pickup or shipping. Please note that associated shipping fees will be charged to the guest's credit card.
  • Upon check-in, you are provided with an indoor parking garage remote to enjoy during your stay. Please return the remote to your host upon departure or place it in the designated spot in the parking. Should the remote travel home with you, please promptly ship it back to Lincoln Way so the next guest may enjoy this amenity. If the remote is lost or not returned within five (5) working days, a $150 fee will be charged to the guest's credit card on file.


SMOKING POLICY


  • Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere inside the Carriage House, on the deck, or in the parking. The gazebo is the permitted smoking area and is located across the west driveway, in the water garden.
  • Illinois law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of windows and doors.
  • Guests who smoke in the Carriage House or deck will be assessed a deep-cleaning fee (minimum charge of $250.)
  • The burning of candles is also prohibited.
  • In such instances, you may be asked to leave the premises.


DRUG POLICY


  • Lincoln Way Stay does not permit on the property unlawful possession or use of controlled substances as defined under either federal or state law. Unlawful use or possession will result in potential early departure for guests.


PET-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION POLICY


At Lincoln Way, we understand that pets are members of our family too! We are delighted to welcome you and your fur babies.

Please note the owners have two very lovely dogs on the property as well. These dogs do not wander the property or approach guests.


  • Pet guest policy form must be signed in advance of arrival (call or email us), and verification that vaccinations are complete and up to date is required.
  • We welcome up to two (2) pets per stay. This includes dogs and cats.
  • Advance notice, please, so we may prepare our complimentary Fur Baby Stay welcome items of treats, food, and water bowls.
  • Guest/pet owner(s) must assure pets are free of fleas and ticks.
  • Ask for recommendations for great local hiking areas.
  • Pets may not be left unattended in the Carriage House, on the deck, or in the parking garage, and must be well-trained. Any disturbances may result in the request for the guest and/or the pets' early departure.
  • Pets must be leashed and attended to at all times when on the grounds of the property.
  • No dogs are permitted east of the Carriage House. We ask that you walk your dog in the grass lawn to the west of the drive, behind the gazebo.
  • “Poo patrol” bags and disposable cans are provided, and we thank you in advance for cleaning up after your fur baby.
  • Guest/owner(s) are responsible for any property damage and personal injury their pet(s) may cause while at Lincoln Way. Carriage House and the deck are subject to damage inspection at any time and upon check-out.
  • Should your beloved companion need veterinary care during your stay, our closest local services include Ashton (eight miles) and Amboy Veterinary Clinics (12 miles.)
  • The guest agrees to release, defend, and indemnify Lincoln Way Stay, LLC from any and all claims or damages arising from and related to your pet's stay, including any claims by third parties.
  • If evidence of urination, defecation, and need for fumigation are found, the guest's credit card will be charged a minimum of $250 cleaning fee for materials and labor.


HEALTH & SAFETY


  • We closely monitor the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization announcements regarding infectious diseases and follow all National, State of Illinois, and regional mandated requirements for operations.
  • A strict “stay at home if you feel sick” policy for our team.
  • You can be assured that we have thoroughly prepared for your stay with intensive disinfecting and cleaning processes.
  • Contactless check-in and check-out are always available.
  • We use shoes that are only for inside when cleaning.
  • We do not enter your space during the duration of your stay (other than for emergencies and/or needed repairs.) If you require anything, we are available 24/7 to assist.
  • For your safety, and the safety of all on the property, during your stay, NO additional visitors are to be on the property. Should you have family or friends who wish to visit, or if there is a special circumstance, please reach out to us at least 48 hours prior to your stay.
  • All visitors who are pre-approved (see above point) must check in with your hosts, Lisa and John, and adhere to any current COVID protocols.
  • Additional cleaning fees may apply if daytime visitors are approved.
  • Stay home if you are unwell or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to someone with a confirmed case of COVID. We will work with you to reschedule.
  • Please research and remain aware of any travel advisories and alerts that may affect your stay.
